ONTARIO – A 16-year-old Ontario boy was arrested for striking a duck with a golf club at the Whispering Lakes Golf Course.
The incident was captured on video and was shared via social media. On Wednesday night Ontario police became aware of the incident and opened an investigation. The investigation led to the identity of the teen responsible for the abuse of the duck. Authorities said that the remains of the duck were found and the suspect was located at his home and taken into custody. He was issued a citation for Felony Animal Abuse and was released to his parents.
