ONTARIO – A $1 million California Lottery Scratcher ticket was sold at an Inland Empire Cardenas Market, lottery officials announced. The ticket was sold at the 2450 South Vineyard location in the City of Ontario. Araceli Lucas purchased a Million Dollar Multiplier Scratchers for $10 that was worth $1 million dollars. The Cardenas Market will receive $5,000 retailer bonus from the California Lottery just for selling the winning ticket.
Lottery officials remind players that even if your ticket is not a winning ticket, there is a 2nd Chance Program that offers players a chance to win weekly cash prizes up to $25,000. “Players enter their non-winning Scratchers tickets on our website and are automatically entered in the weekly pool drawing,” California Lottery official stated. “A total of $100,000 will be given away every week.”
