PALM SPRINGS – Palm Springs Detectives were led on a pursuit after locating a wanted parolee in the 1600 block of South Palm Canyon on Tuesday. At around 1:17 p.m. Jonathan Flora, who authorities said has ties to Coachella Valley.
When detectives attempted to stop the vehicle that had four occupants, Flora continued on traveling southbound on Palm Canyon. The vehicle reached speeds of 90 miles per hour as Flora entered the Agua Caliente Indian Reservation and stopped his vehicle near the trading post on the reservation.
All off the occupants of the vehicle, including Flora, the driver were detained. Following the interviews, all were identified. The passengers were all released, and Flora was booked into jail on felony charges including a parole hold.
