PERRIS – A 47-year-old Perris man was arrested on Wednesday for the sexual assault of a teenage girl Riverside County Sheriff’s officials said.
On June 7, 2016, the Perris police responded to the report of the sexual assault. Through investigation headed by the Perris Station Investigations Bureau investigators learned that suspect, Brian Brown allegedly sexually assaulted the teen at his home in the 3000 block of Ironwood Court in Perris.
On June 15, 2016, police served a search warrant on Brown’s home. Brown was not home when the warrant was served but officers were able to locate him in the neighboring city of Moreno Valley. Brown was arrested and booked into the Southwest Detention Center for Lewd and Lascivious Conduct with a Child and Rape. He is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
