HESPERIA – Two were killed in a plane crash on Summit Valley Road, just south of the Hesperia Airport.
On Friday, June 15, 2018, at 5:06 p.m. deputies, fire personnel, and medical aid responded to multiple calls reporting a plane down. When they arrived they located a downed single-engine aircraft. Firefighters extinguished the fire and found two deceased individuals.
A vehicle was struck by the debris, causing damage to the vehicle. The occupant(s) of the vehicle were not injured as a result. Anyone with information related to the incident should contact the Hesperia Station at (760)947-1500.
