HEMET, Calif. – Authorities are attempting to identify a burglary suspect who burglarized a home that was in the process of being fumigated.
The burglary took place in the 600 block of East Stetson Avenue in the City of Hemet on Saturday, April 20, 2019. The victims were having their home fumigated, due to the highly-toxic environment created during fumigation, they were not home.
The suspect walked up to the home and noticed the doorbell camera. He looked directly into it and then damaged it, police said. Although the doorbell camera was damaged, the video was saved in the cloud and was viewable. The suspect, who was not wearing any protective gear, entered the toxic house and stole items.
