RANCHO CUCAMONGA – A Rancho Cucamonga man was arrested for distributing and possessing child pornography last week. Fontana Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) located and downloaded nine videos containing child pornography over the internet. Authorities said that that portion of the ongoing investigation took place between October 27, 2016, and November 15, 2016. The downloads were made available from the home computer of 30-year-old Christopher Keating.
As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was served at the home of Keating, located in the 10200 block of Devon Street in the City of Rancho Cucamonga. Hundreds of videos containing child pornography, 466 in all, were found during a preliminary search of Keating’s personal computer. Also found was active file sharing software. Detectives viewed some of the videos, which were determined to contain child pornography.
Keating, after advised of his Miranda Rights, admitted to downloading and saving videos containing child pornography in into a file titled, Share File” on his computer, authorities said. Keating was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for distribution and possession of Child Pornography.
