RANCHO MIRAGE – A Rancho Mirage masseuse who was working at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa was arrested on Wednesday for two counts of sexual battery.
The investigation began on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at around 6:33 p.m. when a client reported that he had inappropriately touched the client inappropriately during treatment. The allegations were substantiated when a second victim reported a similar incident.
On November 29, 2017, Pedro Briceno Leija Jr., 23, of Desert Hot Springs was located and arrested. He was booked into jail where he remains booked for two counts of sexual battery.
