HEMET – A registered sex offender has been rearrested after being accused of numerous additional sexual assaults on children. Tyrone Sanchez, 35, of Hemet was arrested on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at his home in the 300 block of N. Palm Avenue, in the City of Hemet. Sanchez was previously convicted of lewd acts with a child under 14 years of age in 2003 and was released the same year.
The most recent investigation revealed that he has since been associated with the abuse of other minors between 2003 to 2017. Authorities fear that due to Sanchez’ personable nature, there may be additional unreported victims. Sanchez was arrested for numerous sexual assaults on several children. He was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center and is being held in lieu of $1,500,000 bail.
The Riverside Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify any other potential victims. If anyone has information about this investigation, please contact Detective Karla Beler at (951)353-7125 or kbeler@riversideca.gov.
