SAN BERNARDINO – A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a 22-year-old San Bernardino man on Sunday night. The suspect, Christopher Campbell was in the area of 40th Street and Harrison Canyon Road at around 9:19 p.m. when a deputy from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Central Station conducted the stop for vehicle code violations.
The deputy quickly learned that Campbell was on felony probation. The deputy performed a probation check of the vehicle, where he located a loaded handgun. Campbell was arrested for being a felon in possession of a loaded firearm/carrying a loaded firearm and was booked into the Central Detention Center.
