Southern California Edison (SCE) has issued an advisory that power outages may be possible in the Victor Valley and Antelope Valley areas from Thursday, June 20, 2019, to Saturday, June 22, 2019.
The reason for the possible outage is that high winds may making power shut off be necessary to reduce the risk of fire that can result from downed power lines. Motorists are advised to treat a blinking traffic signal as a four-way stop.
The areas of Victorville, Hesperia, Apple Valley, Lucerne Valley, Palmdale, Little Rock, Llano, Valyermo, Juniper Hills and Pearblossom all are included in the advisory. For more information, see the SCE website for advisories and ongoing outages.
