PHELAN, Ca. – Parents of children in surrounding areas are hoping to one day call Snowline Joint Unified School District (SJUSD) the pioneer for change in school transportation. For now, this recent announcement serves as only good news for the students and parents within the school district.
The SJUSD in a social media post announced on Thursday, October 24, 2019, that the district would be doing away with all fees for bus transportation. These changes will be enacted at the start of the 2020-21 school year and are a result of the Board of Trustees commitment to eliminate these fees. Students who are currently eligible to receive bus transportation services, can do so for free beginning next school year.
Anyone with questions is asked to visit the district office or contact James Fields at (760)868-5817 ex. 10151
