At around 9:18 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the bank located at 16990 Bear Valley Road. The reporting party said that the very thin build White male adult entered the bank and told everyone to get out. He remained inside, as did a bank manager. While en route to the location, a deputy located the suspect, who was positively identified near Jasmine Street and Hesperia Road. The suspect, later identified as Mark Patrick Mangan, 33 of Lucerne Valley was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for attempted robbery and attempted carjacking.
