TEMECULA – The suspicious death of an infant Monday morning has sparked an investigation. At around 4:30 a.m. police from the Temecula station responded to the Embassy Suites Hotel, in the 29000 block of Rancho California Road in the City of Temecula. When they arrived the found a parent holding an infant who was in medical distress.
The officer performed CPR and the infant was rushed to a local hospital where the infant was pronounced dead. Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of the infant. In order to maintain the integrity of the investigation, no other information is being released.
