VICTORVILLE – Two Victorville men were arrested for attempted murder on Friday night after a man was transported to Victor Valley Global Medical Center (VVGMC) with stab wounds to his chest. At around 10:17 p.m. deputies from the Victorville Station were at VVGMC on an unrelated call when the 42-year-old male victim arrived at the hospital.
Through investigation, deputies learned that the victim was arguing with his girlfriend when she left to go to her friend’s home in the 14200 block of Rodeo Drive. As she was talking to her friend, the victim (her boyfriend) came to the home and as he walked toward the door, Tyrone Williams, 33, and Gregory Young, 29, who live at the home made contact with him.
An altercation took place, leading to Williams stabbing and Young punching the the victim. The man was transported to VVGMC in critical condition. Williams and Young were booked into the High Desert Detention Center for attempted murder and are scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Tuesday afternoon.
