VICTORVILLE, Ca. – A motorcycle versus pedestrian collision left two men deceased and a third critically injured, authorities said.
On Monday, January 11, 2021, at around 7:33 pm. Deputies from the Victorville Station and emergency medical personnel responded to the area of Village Drive and Llanada Avenue for the report of a traffic collision. When they arrived they located a motorcycle and three people down in the roadway. They attempted to save the lives of all involved, but two, the 42-year-old driver and a 29-year-old passenger, died at the scene as a result of their injuries. A second passenger was airlifted to a trauma center, suffering from critical injuries.
Village Drive between Amargosa Road and Vasquez Avenue was closed for several hours for the investigation. The road was reopened at around 4:00 a.m. The cause of the collision remains under investigation and the identity of the two deceased will not be released at this time so that family can first be notified.
