VICTORVILLE, Calif. – The San Bernardino County Coroner identified the two drivers who were killed in a US-395 collision early Saturday morning.
At around 6:54 a.m. Victorville station deputies and the Victorville Fire Department responded to a 2-vehicle traffic collision at US-395 and Luna Road in the City of Victorville. When they arrived they found two badly damaged vehicles. Both drivers were pronounced deceased at the scene, while a passenger in the Mercedes was airlifted to a trauma center for treatment.
Authorities determined that the Honda, driven by Ramiro Angulo, 28, of Victorville, entered the intersection on the red light and broadsided the silver Mercedes driven by Erin Gary-Broaster, 27, of Victorville. A witness said that she believed that Angulo had hit another vehicle just before and ran the red light attempting to flee. The third involved vehicle has not been confirmed by authorities at this time.
The condition of the passenger is unknown at this time. No other information is available.
