VICTORVILLE – The two suspects who were allegedly involved in the AMPM shooting that left two store clerks injured last week have been arrested authorities said.
On August 25, 2017, at around 3:40 a.m. the two suspects entered the AMPM located on Palmdale Road and CA-395. One of the two suspects opened fire on the two store clerks. One of the store clerks called 911 to report the incident and was able to, along with surveillance footage provide descriptive information about the two suspects. When deputies from the Victorville Station arrived they found the two victims inside the store, both were airlifted with non-life-threatening injuries and both are currently in stable condition.
On Wednesday, August 30, 2017, detectives and gang team deputies contacted suspects Kevin Deshonea Brown, 25, and Deshonea Robbie Brown, 23, both of Adelanto at their home in the 11600 block of Star Street in the City of Adelanto. Authorities said that Kevin was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun, ammunition and body armor. Both suspects are reportedly documented gang members out of the Los Angeles area and were booked into the High Desert Detention Center for attempted murder.
