MORENO VALLEY – A vicious dog call, led to a terrier being taken into custody on Monday authorities said.
The Moreno Valley Police responded to a call from some citizens reporting that a dog was outside and refusing to allow them to leave their home. Brave officers responded to the report and found a terrier rapidly wagging his tail, jumping on them, and licking them (nearly to death). The officers attempted to find the owner of the dog, but he was not wearing a tag. “The dog was taken to the Moreno Valley Animal Control Office where he will be fed, cleaned, vaccinated and given medical care for an injury to its hind leg,” Moreno Valley Police Officials said.
If you are the owner of this dog, you should call animal control at 951-413-3790. If his owner is not identified, he will be placed up for adoption.
