FALLBROOK, Calif. – A family is heartbroken after a young Victorville man, a college student, was killed in a crash in San Diego County on Sunday.
Ruben Velasco Gabaldon, 19, was turning 20-years-old this coming Sunday, his older brother said in the Go Fund Me Account. Cesar Galbaldon, Ruben’s brother said that he had just got his first car, he was working and was attending college. His unexpected death has left their family distraught, he said.
The collision remains under investigation but the collision occurred on Sunday, July 21, 2019, at around 12:40 p.m. on the 1-15 just north of SR-76 in the Fallbrook area. Gabaldon lost control of his vehicle striking a tree, killing him instantly. His passenger, also a Victorville man who is 23-years-old suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The family is asking for help with expenses associated with his sudden and unexpected death.
