VICTORVILLE – The man responsible for a recent assault on a developmentally disabled teen is arrested and is in custody. Victorville resident, 23-year-old Shanon Hill was wanted for a March 17, 2017, incident involving a 19-year-old neighbor.
The reporting party told authorities that Hill and the disabled teen were in the 13600 block of Hamlet Court when Hill attacked the victim by hitting him the face and stealing his cell phone and basketball. Hill then left the location prior to deputy arrival.
The victim was treated at a local hospital for wounds to his face. On Sunday, March 26, 2017, at around 9:30 p.m. the Fontana Police Department located and arrested Hill. He was booked into the West Valley Detention Center for robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. He is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Tuesday afternoon for an arraignment hearing.
