VICTORVILLE, Calif. – A 38-year-old Victorville-area transient was arrested after being caught burglarizing a Victorville home.
On Sunday, March 17, 2019, at around 4:00 p.m., the owners of a home in the 12900 block of Fourth Avenue in the City of Victorville returned home to find some of their belongings in the driveway of their home. They walked towards the front door of their home to find Kolin Johnson walking out with some of their property.
“He fled the location and the homeowner followed, allowing him to give the suspects location to deputies,” said Victorville Sheriff’s Station spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez. Johnson was located and arrested in the 16300 block of Nisqualli Road.
He was booked into the High Desert Detention Center for burglary and vandalism. He is being held in lieu of $75,000 bail.
