VICTORVILLE – Two black male suspects remain at large following an armed robbery at a Verizon store on Tuesday night.
Deputies from the Victorville station responded to the Verizon Wireless store in the 15600 block of Roy Rogers Drive for the report of an armed robbery at around 9:30 p.m. When they arrived they learn that the suspects arrived in a gray Dodge Avenger, which they parked in front of the business. The suspects allegedly waited for the employees to leave the store after closing and approached them with handguns. They forced the employees back inside the store and demanded multiple phones and cash from the store safe.
The suspects fled location with an undisclosed amount of cash and phones prior to deputies arriving at the scene. Both suspects were described as black men in their twenties. One suspect was carrying a black handgun and was wearing a blue hoodie. He also had a white scarf over his face. The second suspect in a gray hoodie and also was wearing a white scarf over his face. The second suspect was also carrying a handgun.
