RANCHO CUCAMONGA – An inmate was released from the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga accidentally on Thursday afternoon.
Sheriff’s officials said that at around 2:25 p.m., Aaron Williams, a 25-year-old transient, was released accidentally after being booked on October 31, 2018, for a felony parole violation. The error was noticed around an hour after he was released and a search was initiated. Williams has still not been located and is unfamiliar with the immediate area of his release.
He is 6’1, 190 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants, and black shoes. Williams was scheduled to be released on January 14, 2018, after he was sentenced on November 7, 2018. He was sentenced to 170 days, with 17 days of time served and was to serve 50% of his sentence. According to court records, this was one of many parole violations for Williams.
Williams has an active warrant for his arrest, and local law enforcement agencies have been notified. Anyone who sees Williams, or has information on his whereabouts, is urged to call 911 immediately.
