ODESSA, TX. – A Texas mother was arrested for allegedly allowing a man to sexually molest her 5-year-old daughter.
The woman, who allegedly allowed the sexual assault for approximately 2 years, according to Ector County Sheriff officials, accepted $400 for payment. Shirley Harmon, who admitted to knowing and allowing her daughter to be sexually abused was arrested on March 4, 2019, for child endangerment.
Shirley Harmon, 36, of Odessa, is now facing charges of felony aggravated sexual assault of a child after being charged on Sunday, March 17, 2019.
Gary Landreth, 62, was arrested on January 14, 2019, for the sexual assault of the small child. Ector County Sheriff officials said that the abuse lasted from sometime in 2017 to January 7, 2019.
