PHELAN – A traffic collision took the life of a woman on the 7000 block of Phelan Road on Tuesday afternoon. At around 12:50 p.m. deputies and emergency medical personnel responded to the area of Phelan Road near Nevada Road to find a major damage traffic collision between a white Ford Fusion, a Dodge truck with trailer and a silver Ford Focus.
Two were injured as a result of the collision and one woman sustained fatal injuries, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Phelan road was closed for approximately 3 hours following the fatal crash. The cause of the collision remains under investigation at this time.
