COACHELLA – A Coachella Valley couple has been missing for over a week with no real leads as to their whereabouts authorities said. Audrey Moran, 26, of Indio was last seen leaving her sister’s Coachella home on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, sometime between 8:00 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. Audrey just made a quick stop at her sister’s home as she was on her way to meet her boyfriend, Jonathan Reynoso, 28, of Palm Desert at an unknown location somewhere between Coachella and Imperial County. Through interviews, police learned that Jonathan may have been traveling from Brawley with unknown friends.
Although police are working tirelessly to identify the friends Jonathan, who does not drive was riding with, they have yet to be identified. Authorities believe that Jonathan and Audrey did meet at an unknown location on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, but friends and family have been unable to contact either of them. Audrey’s family reported Audrey missing early in the morning on Friday, May 12, 2017.
Audrey’s vehicle, a 2010 GMC Terrain was located using On-Star the same morning the missing report was made at around 8:00 a.m. on the westbound side of the 10 freeway west of Oak Valley Parkway. The Indio Police took possession of the vehicle that had gas and operated normally. Although no signs of foul play were found, Audrey’s cell phone records indicate her phone was not used outside of the East Coachella Valley on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, and her phone has remained off with no activity. Detectives are asking that the information and photos are shared in any and all locations until the pair is successfully located.
All leads are being followed and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with any information is requested to contact 911, their local police agency or the Indio Police Department (760-391-4051).
