ONTARIO – A young Corona woman lost her life in a Thursday night traffic collision officials said. Judith Isabel Urbina, 22, a California State University, San Bernardino student who was highly devoted to her church was the passenger of a Toyota Corolla at around 10:22 p.m.
The vehicle Urbina was riding was struck from behind by a box truck near Milliken Avenue and the 60 freeway ramps in the City of Ontario. The box truck was driven by a 41-year-old Riverside man authorities said.
Urbina was located in the passenger seat unresponsive and at 10:53 p.m. she was pronounced deceased by paramedics at the scene. Three others were rushed to a local trauma center for the treatment of moderate to major, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the box truck, Angel Gallarzo was suspected to be under the influence and was arrested for a traffic-related warrant.
