YUCAIPA – A man lost his life after a single-vehicle traffic collision in Yucaipa on Thursday night. Deputies from the Yucaipa station responded to the collision on 3rd Street between Yucaipa Boulevard and Avenue B.
Authorities said that the vehicle was driving northbound on 3rd Street when for reasons that remain under investigation, it drifted to the east curb line and struck an Edison power pole. The driver was rushed to Redlands Community Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver’s name has not been released so that family can be notified. Anyone with information regarding this collision should contact the Yucaipa Station at (909)918-2305.
