YUCCA VALLEY – A Yucca Valley High School student was arrested after making threats to carry out a school shooting.
Authorities said that on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at around 12:25 p.m. deputies responded to the school located at 7600 Sage Avenue. Witnesses reported the 16-year-old male student said that he would shoot up the school. A deputy went to the home of the student, where he located two firearms which were seized for evidence. The student was arrested and booked into the Central Juvenile Hall in San Bernardino, for a violation of Criminal Threats.
