BARSTOW – An armed robbery suspect is at large following a robbery at the Lenwood Discount Market in Barstow Saturday night. Authorities said that that suspect armed with a small black handgun walked into the store located at 25133 Main Street at approximately 8:48 p.m.
He walked up to the front counter and demanded that the cashier gave him money from the register. The cashier complied, giving the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect grabbed other store merchandise from the counter before fleeing the scene. The suspect was last seen on foot heading east on Main Street.
The suspect was described as being an approximately 18-year-old black man with a thin mustache. He was approximately 5’10” tall and 150 pounds. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with orange strings attached to the hood and orange writing on the front.
