ADELANTO – A 34-year-old Adelanto man and 35-year-old Adelanto woman were arrested for lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under 14-years-old and willful cruelty to a child.

On Wednesday, August 29, 2018, an Electronic Service Provider (ESP) provided a tip to authorities which contained hundreds of messages detailing a sexual relationship between Kevin Fryer and the minor victim. The following day the Specialized Enforcement Detail (SED) contacted Kevin and Irma Fryer at their home in the 9800 block of Forest Court in the City of Adelanto. A detective from the Crimes Against Children Detail interviewed Kevin and Irma Fryer. Following the interview, Kevin Fryer was placed under arrest for Lewd and Lascivious Acts with a minor under the age of 14 and Irma Fryer was arrested for willful cruelty to a child.

Both subjects were subsequently booked into Central Detention Center, and bail was set at $250,000.00 for Kevin Fryer and $100,000.00 for Irma Fryer.
