ADELANTO – Mark you calendars, the City of Adelanto will be having a free dump day on Saturday, July 22nd, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This event will take place in the parking lot of Adelanto Stadium located at 12000 Stadium way.
The last event, which took place on Saturday, April 22nd served approximately 250 residents. The lines were long, but the service was fast with nearly 67 tons of trash, 8 ½ tons of metal, and over 9 ½ tons of tires collected throughout the extended event.
Residents are invited to bring TV’s, computer monitors, miscellaneous electronic waste, tires, metal appliances, toilets, mattresses, furniture, and other large items. This is for Adelanto residents only, must bring a driver’s license and water bill to show proof of residency. Tires brought must be off of rims and no large tires or hazardous waste will be accepted.
