ADELANTO, Ca. – A 24-year-old Adelanto man was arrested months after a report of child molestation.
In January 2021, a female child reported to her father that she was being molested by Sean Steven Scott, for several years. The father reported the molestation to authorities. He indicated that Scott was known to the family and the victim.
On April 22, 2021, shortly before 10:00 p.m. deputies from the Victor Valley Station arrested Scott at his home in the 15000 block of Radford Avenue in the City of Adelanto. It is unknown if there are any other victims. Sean Scott was booked at the High Desert Detention Center for sodomy of a child under 10 years old, oral copulation of victim under 10 years old and lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14. He s being held in lieu of $1,500,000 bail.
