APPLE VALLEY, Ca. – An Apple Valley man was arrested for the sexual exploitation of a minor and possession of child pornography on Wednesday.
The Sheriff’s Department from Pickens County in South Carolina made contact with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, March 16, 2020, regarding an investigation into the sexual exploitation of a minor. The Pickens County investigators learned that the suspect was sending and receiving harmful matter from victims in South Carolina. The investigation determined that the harmful matter was coming from and being sent to Apple Valley.
On Wednesday, March 18, 2020, a search warrant was served in the 11800 block of Running Deer Road in the Town of Apple Valley. Investigators made contact with Roy Sescon at the residence. At the end of an interview with Sescon, he was identified as the suspect and was arrested. Sescon was subsequently booked into Central Detention Center with bail set at $100,000. He has since posted bail and was released from custody.
