APPLE VALLEY, CA. – Authorities are asking for the public’s help to identify two suspects wanted for an armed robbery at an Apple Valley 7-Eleven store on Thursday.
At around 1:56 p.m. deputies were dispatched to the 7-Eleven located at 17979 State Highway 18 in the Town of Apple Valley for the report of a robbery. When they arrived they learned that two black men, in their early 20’s had robbed the store, leaving with around $90 from the register. One of the suspects who was wearing a Aeropostale sweatshirt with “NY” on the pants, grey Nikes, and a black mask held a gun to the suspects head, forcing him to give him the money in the register. The second suspect acted as a lookout at the front door, police said. He was wearing a black sweatsuit and a mask.
Both suspects who police said were over 6’ tall and thin build, fled on foot and it appears as though they got into a silver or gold sedan down the back alley to the business.
Anyone with information about this investigation is asked to contact Deputy T. McGee at the Apple Valley Police Department at (760) 240-7400 or Sheriff’s Dispatch at (760) 956-5001.
