ADELANTO, Ca. – Authorities are asking for help to identify three suspects who were involved in a carjacking in Adelanto last week.
On Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at around 12:33 p.m., deputies responded to a carjacking reported near Sheridan Court and Rosedale Drive in Adelanto. The victim was in a Budget Rental truck delivering FedEx packages. He got out of the vehicle to sort packages when the suspect got into the truck and drove away. The victim was still in the back of the truck and jumped out falling into the roadway.
Deputies search for the suspect but found only the abandoned truck in the desert area near La Cadena Avenue near Bellflower in the City of Victorville. The truck was partially loaded with packages when found. After questioning witnesses deputies learned that the suspect was described as a Hispanic male. After exiting the truck he got into a silver SUV occupied by a Hispanic man and woman.
