YUCAIPA – Deputies from the Yucaipa station are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect wanted for stealing prescription drugs from multiple pharmacies authorities said.
All of the three incidents, which took place at a Vons, CVS, and Rite Aid Store occurred on Monday, July 3, 2017. The male suspect was wearing a white T-shirt, dark-colored jeans, white with black tennis shoes with red laces, and a gray beanie when he entered the Vons market located at 22644 Yucaipa Boulevard. The suspect attempted to open the security gate of the pharmacy, which was closed at the time.
The suspect then walked over to the CVS Store, located at 33499 Yucaipa Boulevard. He entered the closed pharmacy department while the other portion of the store remained open. He left the store and returned after the store was closed. He re- entered when the store was closed and forcibly entered the pharmacy and fled with prescription drugs. Deputies conducted an area check of the other area pharmacies and determined that the Rite Aid located at 11352 Bryant Street also had signs of an attempted break-in.
The public’s assistance is needed in identifying the suspect involved in these burglaries. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Yucaipa Police/Sheriff’s Station at 909-918-2305.
