HIGHLAND – Detectives from the Highland Station need the public’s help to identify the suspect who robbed a Chase Bank on Thursday. At around 4:50 p.m. the Chase Bank located at 7195 Boulder Avenue was robbed by a White or Hispanic man. Authorities said that the man handed the teller a note demanding money and saying that he had a weapon.
The teller complied, handing the suspect around $5,000 in cash. The suspect is described as 5’6” tall, average build, and they believe that he may have been wearing a wig. He was last seen wearing a red button up long sleeve shirt and a black “Kango” style hat.
The suspect fled the scene and although police searched for the suspect, they were unable to locate him. The incident remains under investigation.
