HIGHLAND – Two men were arrested for the possession of stolen property, drugs and grand theft auto Thursday night. At around 9:40 p.m. a Central Station deputy made contact with the two suspects, identified as 43-year-old Robert Santos, and 33-year-old Saul Arevalo at a laundromat on Baseline Road.
While speaking with them, the deputy learned that the blue Ford F150 they were driving was stolen out of San Bernardino during a residential robbery. During the search of the truck, a loaded handgun, a high capacity magazine, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.
Arevalo was learned to be on felony probation. Both Santos and Arevalo were arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center.
