VICTORVILLE, Ca. – A 70-year-old Victorville man was taken into custody for the stabbing of a Victorville woman who he met earlier in the day.
Authorities said that on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, at around 3:34 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the 14400 block of Rodeo Drive for the report of a stabbing. When they arrived they learned that the 46-year-old female victim and suspect returned to the suspect’s apartment after meeting earlier in the day. The victim reported that without provocation the suspect attacked her with a knife. She was able to run from the apartment to seek assistance but was wounded on her arms as a result of the knife attack. She was transported to the hospital by ambulance for treatment.
Donald Lee Hibbler, 70, of Victorville, was taken into custody for attempted murder and is being evaluated at the hospital.
