Ex-Boyfriend of Woman Killed in Chino Shopping Center Wanted for Murder

CHINO, Calif. – A 25-year-old Montclair man is wanted for the murder of his ex-girlfriend, also from Montclair and the injury of a male subject.

On Thursday, March 21, 2019, at around 2:43 p.m. Thalia Flores was just getting off of work  in the 12500 block of Central Avenue in Chino, when her ex-boyfriend, Julio Cesar Rocha, allegedly shot and killed her. He also shot a male who was with her. The male victim is being treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Thalia sustained trauma to her body and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Rocha fled the scene before officers arrived. He is described as 5’11”, around 275 pounds, black short hair, and brown eyes. He is considered and and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to contact Chino PD Dispatch at 909.628.1234 or Detective Chinnis 909.334.3047
