HIGHLAND: Suspect Identifying Himself as an Officer Handcuffs and Robs Victim

HIGHLAND – An unknown man identifying himself as a police officer robbed a male victim who was parked in the area of Norwood Street and Bonita Avenue early Monday morning. He told the victim to get out of his vehicle. The victim complied and was handcuffed by the suspect.

“The suspect then took property from the victim and fled the location on foot,” Sheriff’s officials said.

Highland Station deputies were dispatched to the robbery at around 3:30 a.m. The suspect is only described as a White male, with blonde hair, 25-30 years old, 5’10”, and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green jacket and blue jeans.
