SAN BERNARDINO – A 47-year-old man was located at the Central Detention Center with a loaded gun on Sunday afternoon. At around 3:30 p.m. Antonio Martin Gomez-Bejar, who was apparently intoxicated was witnessed at the jail by a deputy. The deputy made contact with Gomez-Bejar to determine why he was on the jail property.
Gomez-Bejar began reaching into his pocket and the deputy was able to detain him. The deputy patted down Gomez-Bejar and located a loaded semi-automatic pistol, an additional magazine with ammunition in his pocket and methamphetamine. He was booked into the Central Detention Center in lieu of $50,000 bail.
