MEAD VALLEY – A deceased male was located in the front yard of a home on the 19000 block of Robinson Street in Mead Valley Saturday afternoon. Perris Station deputies responded to the report of a shooting. When they arrived the found the man who had died from an apparent gunshot wound.
Sheriff’s officials said that the male victim did not live at the home but was an acquaintance of the owners of the home. The victim and residents were believed to be involved in an ongoing dispute.
Sheriff Central Homicide Unit investigators responded to the scene to assume the investigation. The victim’s identity is not being released at this time, the Coroner’s Department will release the name of the deceased man once the family has been notified.
