ADELANTO – The investigation into the robbery of a Domino’s Pizza delivery driver has led to the investigation of an 18-year-old Victorville man.
The robbery took place on Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at 10:03 pm, in the 15100 block of Ivy Court in the City of Adelanto. The 48-year-old pizza delivery driver was delivering the pizza when he was approached by three black men and was robbed at gunpoint. The suspects stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled with the victim’s keys. The keys were found nearby. Information was gathered by deputies, detectives, and Domino’s Pizza management.
The investigations led to the arrest of Jayveyon Louis Burley. He was found in possession of the weapon used during the robbery, a black mask and other evidence pertinent to the crime. He was booked into the High Desert Detention Center and is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail. Authorities believe that Burley may also be responsible for other high desert robberies.
