Sage Shooting Leaves One Dead and One Critically Wounded

SAGE – A shooting left one man dead and a second fighting for his life on Monday afternoon. Authorities said that at around 12:49 p.m. they were dispatched to the 29000 block of San Ignacio Road in the community of Sage (approximately 15 miles east of Temecula and south of Hemet).

When deputies arrived, they found the two men suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the men was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was transported to the hospital in critical condition. The Homicide Unit responded to the scene to assume the investigation. At this time no additional information is available for release and the investigation is ongoing.
