SAN BERNARDINO – During a Sunday morning pedestrian check, deputies made contact with 28-year-old San Bernardino resident, Gilbert Farias in the area of 40th Street and Sierra Way. Farias was determined to be under the influence of methamphetamine. During a search, deputies located a loaded revolver in his backpack.
Farias was arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center for carrying a concealed weapon and carrying a weapon while under the influence. He is scheduled for an arraignment hearing on Tuesday afternoon.
