VICTORVILLE – A Semi-truck fire closed all southbound I-15 freeway lanes for a short time on Sunday afternoon. At approximately 4:30 p.m. the San Bernardino County Fire Department along with the Barstow Marine Corps. Logistic Base Fire Department responded to a truck fire on the 15 freeway north of Dale Evans Parkway.
The trailer was carrying non-hazardous cargo and the driver was out of the vehicle at the time of the fire. Crews went into attack mode knocking down the fire within around 15 minutes and prevented any spread to nearby vegetation.

No injuries were reported as a result of the fire. The cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.
