SAN BERNARDINO – Two men were arrested on Sunday after deputies from the Central Station stopped the U-Haul truck they were driving in the area of E and 41st Streets in the City of San Bernardino. At around 1:33 a.m. deputies made contact with the driver, James Tierce, 41 of San Bernardino.
Deputies learned that Tierce, a convicted felon had an active no bail warrant for violation of his probation. His passenger, 22-year-old Rialto resident, Jesse Waters had an active trespassing warrant, officials said. Deputies searched the vehicle locating a loaded semi-automatic pistol, shaved car keys, bolt cutters, and crowbars.
Both Tierce and Water’s were arrested for possession of the loaded firearm and burglary tools. The two were booked into the Central Detention Center. Waters was cited and released with no court appearances scheduled at this time. Tierce is being held on $55,000 bail and is scheduled to appear at the San Bernardino Superior Court on Wednesday morning.
